At the end of my 3rd year of Game Design studies at ICAN (Paris), I made several maps for the famous French Youtuber Squeezie. My mission was to create maps for him for specific gamemodes of the game Garry's Mod:

The Prop Hunt : that features two teams: The Props can disguise as objects to hide and must survive until the end of the round and the Hunters must find and kill the Props.

The Murder : also features 2 teams: the murderer must kill other players without being caught and the bystanders must find out who is the murderer and kill him. There also is a police officer with a hidden weapon hidden among the bystanders.
I then made a map for each gamemode:
- Squeezie's House (2019) -
The Squeezie's House map was made for the Prop Hunt gamemode and is an excessively luxurious villa inspired by the world of Squeezie. It is not his real home but a very fantasized over-the-top dream house full of references to his universe and his Youtube channel.
The map features many small to medium sized rooms and is rather compact so that the sounds (or taunts) played by the Props can be heard by the Hunters at all times helping them in case of having a hard time. While each room is filled with specific objects that can be used by Props as camouflage, some props can also be found in all rooms. These objects can then be used by the Props to move from one room to another without making their camouflage inconsistent.

- Shiba's Temple (2019) -
The Shiba's Temple map was made for the Murder gamemode and is a japanese temple surrounded by a garden and several small buildings all worshiping the Shiba Inu dog breed.
The map is made up of several areas connected by bridges with reduced visibility on each other. As Murder is a gamemode where stealth is important, many hedges and walls prevent players from seeing too far. But as I didn't want the game to turn into a hide-and-seek either, visibility is relatively clear on the bridges. Finally, in order to make the players not feeling lost, the central temple is tall enough to be visible anywhere on the map, serving as a landmark.
