Khéoptède is a game made in 3 months on Unity as a semester project during my second year at ICAN in Paris.

This is a single player sandbox game inspired by Ancient Egypt in which the player owns a powerful artifact called the  "Khéoptède". This tool allows him to expel,  push back, store or eject physical objects.

The Khéoptède has two modes : The ray mode which only affects objects hit by the ray, and the 360° that affects all objects in range around the player.

These modes can be mixed with the possibility  of changing the force of the tool or reversing it, creating many different possibilities to interact with the environment.

These combinations will then allow the player to destroy his environment but also to rebuild it as the world is made of simple geometric shapes tant can make more complex structures when assembled together.

By making this game our goal was to bring the player back to childhood by reminding him of the pleasure of building then destroying sand castles.
