Cases from the Murder Wagon is an asymmetrical 2 players cooperative survival horror initially made in 48 hours during the 2018 Global Game Jam with the theme "transmission".
Players must collect evidences scattered throughout the map and then escape without getting caught by the threat lurking around.
Each player has a fundamentally different gameplay but communication is key in order for both players to survive.
the Runner has a top-down view and is the player that has to collect the evidence. He can use many equipments that will allow him to overcome the various obstacles of the level and escape the creature.
Although he has a direct vision of the environment around him, he is very vulnerable and must communicate with his partner to avoid dangerous situations or to solve some puzzles.

the Watcher has a first person view and is the player that must guide the Runner throughout the level to help him find the evidences. His vision is based on security cameras that allow him to see the different areas of the level and an interactive map to follow the position of his partner and the creature.
Although he is less exposed to danger than the Runner, he remains vulnerable and must frequently look out the window behind him to check if the creature is not after him. If so, he must temporarily cut off the power to ward off the threat, disabling all of his equipment in the process for a brief moment.
Each level has its own creature with different behaviors and is semi-procedural in order to make each game unique.
The game development is actually in standby.
